Yes,
perhaps many in my small urban community (about 150,000)
consider me the "Crazy Carrot Lady". Some 40 years
ago when I studied Fine Art in univsersity and then pursued
further education in Information Science, I never thought
art would play a crucial role in my life. Those were the
days when the Internet was being hatched and, nearly 10
years later, I would be designing websites and "photoshoping"
images for large organizations. Painting and ink
illustration would also linger in the background to be used
in compiling newsletters and proposals for work or for
volunteer projects.
Now, some 20 years later, carrots have come to
symbolize health, home, garden, sustanance and an almost
stubborn will to live. |
